so sweet...

**warning... this is a very sweet post**

I usually don't go this... but with valentine not too far away and the fact that Ruben has been very supportive in my decisions lately, I just couldn't resist making a little something for him...

for this week assignment, I got to play with the new collection from 7gypsies and can't begin to tell you how much I adore this collection - Venice. It truly reminds me of the time when we were in Venice - the romantic gondola rides (although ridiculously expensive), the strolls along the canals, the ever so yummy food & wine, the carnival and of course the shopping. :) and also using the latest sketch from 52 Sketches 52 Weeks #49

as for the pictures, they're from the weekend in BKK; just adore that picture of me and ruben and couldn't resist using it again and again. They were taken at this cute cafe at the sunday market - serving the best (and strongest) cocktail drinks ever; a perfect way to start the night & hanging out with friends.

Monday Morning Blues...

Hope everyone had a great weekend... I didn't do much, abit of shopping, abit of scrapping and alot of nothing. I started working on a lot of projects, but didn't manage to finish any of them. On some, i have all the papers and pictures pasted but just went blank when it came to journaling, and on others have all the pattern paper and embellishments done, but no pictures. Then there's also some without titles and the december calendar is almost done, have all the pieces and just waiting for the dates... yeap, a lot of nothing :)

Any-a-way... have you seen the new sketch over at 52 Sketches 52 Weeks... this has got to be one of my favorite sketch and I just feel in love with the new winter collection from pink paislee. ps. another picture from our trip to Japan, this is was taken in front of the temple where everyone had tied their wishes to the tree... (or so i hope)

Having fun...

There was just so much to do this past weekend that I hardy had time to do anything else (other than sleep of course). Let's see, Saturday started with a shopping trip and ended with the famous Belgium Mussels Dinner. Both Ruben and I weren't sure what to expect when we had signed up for the dinner other than that they would be serving mussels. Little did I realize just how much mussels there would be... wow - unlimited mussels!!! and I still want some more!! SUPER YUMMY!

Then on Sunday - HAPPY B-DAY MWL!! Yeap, stopped by Made With Love to celebrate their 6th B-day!!! and also getting the chance to meet up with the other DTs (wow - all the ladies are just amazing and can't believe that I am actually working along side them) and presenting the MWL ladies...

Weekends....

Time really flew by this week, it's already friday and so grateful for that. It has been a long long long week for me, not to mention a tiring one tooo. It's one of those times at work where the work load is piled up and people are working at 150% capacity (when we can only do 100%). I'm so happy that I enjoy doing scrapbooking, as this gives me a chance to de-stress a bit and then ... stress out again... (if that makes sense at all).

There's another layouts that I would like to share... done for 52 Sketches 52 Weeks - the current sketch challenge going on right now, don't forget to check out the details there... there's another yummy prize up for grabs

and here's my take; ); another picture from the trip to Borobudur in Indonesia. The monument is breath taking and not a surprise that it's also on the world heritage list...
