Guesting for Chic Tags & Another Giveaway!!

I'm thrilled to be guesting for Chic Tags this month and had a super fun time working with their cute tags and embellishments. Also you guys definitely need to check out their new collection release - Everyday Life - honestly loving the shabby chic feel and that camera image is just too too cute!!

For one of my projects, I used a few of the tags along with the new AC Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection and got to say that with the array of colors that are available for each of the design - there's no problems finding something that worked perfectly with the colors in the collection.

Photobucket

Having some fun layering the different tags together...

Photobucket

And I think I've just discovered another alphabet love (those textured fabric ones from Prima - are a must have!!!); the pink ones are a given (from American Crafts)...LOL  And yes, I like to think that I'm a little bit wiser now...I hope!!!

Photobucket

In addition to having the opportunity to work with these fun tags and with the amazing generosity from Veronica, I couldn't resist sharing some with one of my lucky readers. If you're interested in the sets below, leave a comment on this blog post by Wednesday 28th  and will be announcing the winner over the weekend (open to all).

American Crafts & Scor-Pal Blog Hop + Giveaway! - Closed

Photobucket

Hi everyone, hope you guys are have a hopping fun time and picking up a few inspirations along the way.  For my project, I would like to share this little fold out mini album that I created using one 12x12 cardstock sheet and the dreamy Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection.

Photobucket

I used my scoring board to created the necessary creases for the mini album and opted to used an already made rosette flower/embellishment from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection (shown below) - that can also be easy created using your scoring board (which helps make sure that the folds are evenly spaced).

Photobucket

For the mini album, I first started by cutting out the unwanted areas, creating the plus shaped design as seen. Then using my scoring board, I created the creases along the middle section to create the square fold out album.

Photobucket

And once I had the album base created... the fun starts, as I played around with all the super yummy Dear Lizzy Neapolitan goodies (don't you just love the dreamy designs and colors).

Photobucket

The scooter sticker is just too too cute...

Photobucket

These mason jar designs are super adorable...

Photobucket

Cameras and chevrons...

Supplies used include:
Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Pattern Papers: Twinkling Lights (35629), Fresh Blooms (35630), Hazy Horizon (35639), Dreamy Days (35642), Warm Memories (35633) and Sea Breeze (35643); Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Printed Chipboard Shapes (78070); Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Accent & Phrase Sticker Book (42232); Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Borders, Accents & Phrase Sticker Sheet (42235); Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Mini Fair Ribbons (78066); Twine: The Twinery.

Lily Bee Buttercup Collection

Sharing a layout I created this month's Lily Bee blog assignment, using the new Buttercup collection and got to say, I just love love the colors in this collection!

Photobucket

I really wanted the focus of the layout to be on the colors and therefore choose to have most of the pictures in black and white and highlighting that one picture of the amazing ladies that I had a chance to met (including Kristen).  Also looking back over the past two years that I've had the chance to be part of the Lily Bee family - honestly thanking my lucky stars. Not only is Kristen one of the sweetest and wonderful person I've met, but also a super talented designer. Love every collection that she has created - Love Lily Bee.

I still remember that agonizing day, when those who made the Lily Bee team would be contacted. I was on vacation in Australia and honestly, couldn't go to sleep - I was up wondering if I would get that special phone call or maybe an email.  Seriously, hubby thought I was crazy - checking the internet every other second and then checking my phone again to make sure that if someone needed to call - they can. LOL   And then I think, at one point - I pretty much gave up hoping only to then be surprised that I actual got THE email.   Needless to also say, that hubby was super happy too, as he can then {finally} go to sleep.

Being part of this family is a dream come true.
Thank you Lily Bee for the wonderful memories and this amazing opportunity. Love you guys!

A big thanks for stopping by everyone!  And do check back to tomorrow for some hopping fun!!

Lily Bee Double Dutch Collection

Sharing one of my Lily Bee projects that was up on the Lily Bee Blog earlier this week, using the fun new Double Dutch Collection.  Really loving the colors in this collection and selected these 3 primary colors for my little tag set.

Photobucket

Just having some fun with the pattern paper designs;a little bit of confetti here and there and also loving the new denim ribbon from Maya Road.

Photobucket

And some close up shots of the tags...

Photobucket

And went a little bit crazy with the layering on this one...

Photobucket

And pictures of the remaining 3 tags...

Photobucket

And got to admit, my most reached for tools are my circle punches and cutter, I pretty much use these in my projects in one shape or form....

Photobucket

Ahhh... I think my new favorite color for this year is denim!

Photobucket

Thanks again for stopping by everyone and hope you guys are having a great weekend!!!

Playing Catch Up with Crate Paper

I just realized that I haven't shared this Crate Paper assignment here on my blog yet - using Crate Paper Random collection (love love this) - for some daily inspiration.

Photobucket

Using my silhouette also, I created this Days of the Week index card set to help me capture my daily activities.  The idea is to jolt down moments of the day on post its and record them on these cards until I use them in my projects (yes, I a major forgetful person).

Photobucket

And some close up of the cards with "open" space for the post-its.....

Photobucket

And my Wednesday card...

Photobucket

And the ones for Thursday and Friday...

Photobucket

And there you have it, a little something to help me keep track of my daily adventures...

Photobucket

Thanks everyone for stopping by!
