Capturing some fun details from a corporate outing...

The design idea around this layout was focused around ...embellishments, mixing and matching various different types of embellishments together to create a new {layout}design (I wonder if that makes any sense) LOL.

and just enjoying the white space of the layout...

American Crafts & Scor-Pal Blog Hop + Giveaway! - Closed

Photobucket

Hi everyone, hope you guys are have a hopping fun time and picking up a few inspirations along the way.  For my project, I would like to share this little fold out mini album that I created using one 12x12 cardstock sheet and the dreamy Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection.

Photobucket

I used my scoring board to created the necessary creases for the mini album and opted to used an already made rosette flower/embellishment from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection (shown below) - that can also be easy created using your scoring board (which helps make sure that the folds are evenly spaced).

Photobucket

For the mini album, I first started by cutting out the unwanted areas, creating the plus shaped design as seen. Then using my scoring board, I created the creases along the middle section to create the square fold out album.

Photobucket

And once I had the album base created... the fun starts, as I played around with all the super yummy Dear Lizzy Neapolitan goodies (don't you just love the dreamy designs and colors).

Photobucket

The scooter sticker is just too too cute...

Photobucket

These mason jar designs are super adorable...

Photobucket

Cameras and chevrons...

Photobucket

Supplies used include:
Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Pattern Papers: Twinkling Lights (35629), Fresh Blooms (35630), Hazy Horizon (35639), Dreamy Days (35642), Warm Memories (35633) and Sea Breeze (35643); Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Printed Chipboard Shapes (78070); Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Accent & Phrase Sticker Book (42232); Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Borders, Accents & Phrase Sticker Sheet (42235); Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Mini Fair Ribbons (78066); Twine: The Twinery.

Photobucket

more projects for scrappin studio

Hi everyone, sharing a few more projects that I created this month as guest designer for Scrappin Studio using the fun (and super yummy) kits from Studio Calico. I got a chance to work with 3 out of the 5 kits this month and honestly love how easily they can be mixed and matched together.  {for full details on the layout, please visit Scrappin Studio HERE}

On this layout, I had a blast putting my Silhouette machine to some good use, using designs from Silhouette Designs and Karla Dudley. And also making the most of all the new Dear Lizzy and Pebbles goodies that were included in the kits.

Photobucket

Some close up details... and also adding a bit of Mr. Huey Lemonade to provide some contrast/depth between the two cardstock pieces...

Photobucket

Loving these fun sequins from Pebbles...

Photobucket

And also these word sayings from authentique...

Photobucket

-------------------------------------

And another layout that was design around the super fun Dear Lizzy pattern paper - don't you just LOVE those polaroid frames!!

Photobucket

The kraft alphabet stickers were also just the right touch for the layout, to contrast against the soft dreamy colors of the Dear Lizzy collection.

Photobucket

and also a play on words... Love You Everyday!

Photobucket

and Always Forever...

Photobucket

-----------------------------------------------------------

And for my last project, I pretty much grab what ever was left and created this free style mini album - hoping  capture some of my "if only" moments...

Photobucket

Photobucket

I also added in some small doilies for more texture and can't get enough of that crepe paper from the Dear Lizzy collection...

Photobucket

And used the studio calico white mist for the finishing touches - a few droplets here and there.

Photobucket

thanks for stopping by everyone and don't you just adore the new collection from Dear Lizzy??   and also will be back soon with more projects to share...

"a slice of the good life"

This week has passed by in a flash and can't believe that the weekend has already started even thou there's still so many things that I needed to do before then (and obviously haven't done yet).  And to add on to it... I need to go back to BKK this weekend to run some errands... lol (wishing there was 48 hours in a day).

Although it has been a crazy week but I have to admit that it definitely has been an interesting one.  Starting with our chinese new year vacation to Manado, Indonesia; where we spent the long weekend snorkeling in the crystal clear blue sea.  I will definitely say that it was beyond expectations and anything that I ever thought could be.  The corals were amazing and I don't think I have ever seen so many fish - especially that up close!  But unfortunately there is also a down side of it (in which I'm still paying the dear price) - SUNBURNED!!  Yeap, its the first time for me and literally half of my body is killing me...

So before crawling to my gate, thought I would share this recent layout that I created using American Craft Amy Tangerine goodies (I know - I just can't get enough of this collection); of my trip late last year to Belgium (truly enjoying the good life there).

Photobucket

I opted to keep the overall design of the layout really simple and instead focused on the design of the pattern papers and "white space"; but still having some fun in the details... also mixed in some pebbles goodies (kraft butterflies)...

Thanks everyone for stopping by and hope guys are having a great weekend!

some amy tangerine goodness

with all the sneaks going up yesterday on the new Amy Tangerine Sketchbook collection (which are a must have - don't you love the watercolor effect and all those hand draw elements); I just couldn't resist having some fun with the current collection and also sharing my favorite photo from the Lombok trip.

Photobucket

Also using some goodies from the latest Amy Tangerine release - pocket envelops and some new die cuts... and putting those mixtapes to good use

Photobucket

And would say that the highlight of my trip to Lombok was our day trip to the Gili islands for snorkeling. Wow - the water there is crystal clear blue and the sand is absolutely fine white -  I honestly I just wanted to sit there forever; in absolute bliss...

Photobucket

Thanks everyone for stopping and for the wonderful comments; it still feels like a dream.
