Get Picky Challenge #10

hi there... the latest Get Picky Challenge is up and I had a super fun time working on this month's sketch and also using the Studio Calico June Kit - Paper Moon (with some random other bits). (click here for the original sketch)

I've been holding on to these pictures for awhile now (almost a year - can't believe how fast time just flown by and it'll just be a few more weeks until we see them again)...

Also this month sponsor at Get Picky is Purple Pumpkin and Samantha (the owner) has been so kind to provide some of her handmade goodies for us to work with and on this layout, I couldn't resist adding in that gorgeous orange fabric flower. LOVE It!!! I really need more of these.... And in case anyone is interested - Purple Pumpkin is currently having a guest designer contest; do check out their blog for more details!

And I've just discovered a new love, using twine for stitching... doesn't it have a fun effect?

And I have now fallen in love all over again with THICKERS! Aren't those chipboard alphas a must have? I definitely need another pack of these (which I am unable to find at my LSS... sigh).

hope you guys will join in the fun and don't forget to stop by the Get Picky Blog for the full details and also more samples from the amazing ladies there.
thanks for stopping everyone!!!
