I'm super excited to be part of the Crate Paper family again this year and will be joining the project life team along with 3 other amazing ladies. Hope you guys come and visit us every Friday for a little PL inspiration.
And sharing my PL for week 1 & 2 here.. (don't forget to also stop by my post on the Crate Paper blog HERE for more details and close ups)
For the cover - I kept things simple and used a hambly print to highlight 2013 along with the super cute wood cut from freckled fawn. Definitely Hello 2013!
Also put together my first set of cards using photoshop (finally learning how to use it and having tons of fun loading various free fonts from the web). For the grid cards, I purchased a digital kit from Three Paper Peonies HERE (Everyday Collection) and added my own text and/or various brushes that I found or purchased.
And used the sweet Fourteen Collection from Crate Paper on a few of the cards. Just love the combination or colors and adding in a bit of gold here and there... just I'm in a "gold" crazy phase!
Week 1:
One of things that I'm planning to do for each week is have a status check on where I am on my resolutions - got to loose those kgs and also need to control my scrapbook spending (last year was really out of hand and ended up buying a lot of things that I didn't use). By the way, if anyone (in Singapore) is interested in my grab bags again, please drop me an email as putting some together at the moment.
And for week 2, I used the same set of papers along with some glitter paper from american crafts (been hoarding these for a long while now and love how it looks on the spread); glitter and gold :)
Week 2:
Thanks everyone for stopping and do check out my post HERE on the crate paper blog. Would love to hear what your thoughts are and especially if you prefer pictures taken page by page or as a spread (like the last one here).
