Never too late... (for some AC)

one week down and three more to go before December and then when you realize it again... it's 2010! It seems as thou time flies by faster at the end of year, especially when you need to plan out the holidays; and we still can't decide where to go for christmas & new year (well first off, got to figure out if I am able to get 2 weeks off). uhmmmm.....

I know it's a bit late for october & halloween, but I just finished this layout over this weekend and had to share. so in love with the halloween collection from American Crafts. ohhhhh, i really wished that we celebrated halloween over here in Singapore... just adore these papers (don't you just love all the details) and breaking my head over on what else I can use these for... any suggestions???

Photobucket
Noticed the splater on the top right corner... well, it's not glimmer mist... but instead wine. Yeap, was finishing the layout late in the night and accidentally knocked the glass over. Boy was I really lucky that there wasn't much wine left, otherwise...
Photobucket
lovin' all the glitter!! especially the glitter sheets.....
Photobucket
and have I said just how much I love all the pattern papers in this collection? ... just so so so so cute!!
Photobucket
supplies used include:
cardstock: american crafts white (71081); pattern paper: american crafts halloween haunted (34774), venom (34780), bump in the night (34785), undead (34793) and horror (34795); brads: american crafts tropicals (85288) and brights (85288); vinyl embellishments: american crafts haunted house (77210); chipboard: american crafts hocus pocus accents (42992) and bewitched melon (42987) and rub ons: american crafts edgar alphas (43337) and culdron (43338).

Also, I know that I mentioned in my post earlier that I will be posting a give-away to celebrate my 100th post... will need to postpone this for another day as I haven't had a chance to take the pictures yet... but hopefully it will be worth while waiting for!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Why?....

Sometimes I wonder why we do what we do... what is it that keeps us going, that motivates us each day and when do we accept that enough is enough (in a good way that is)? For the past few months, I am very grateful for everyone and all your support. I'm just so happy that I found this hobby and all the wonderful people that I have met along the way and the amazing opportunities. This definitely keeps me going especially after a long day at work and not to mention all the "sad" things that happen in the office.

But all in all... I guess we can only do just so much... (piradee rambling away again and again).

Here's a layout I did for Ruben's niece a while back... the pictures were taken at our wedding ceremony at my house in Bangkok. She is just so so adorable & everyone just loved her (and so did the photographer)!

Photobucket

and on another note - thank you so much Lori & everyone! i am so honored and truly surprised. And most of all, thank you for your understanding.

ps. don't forget to stop by tomorrow, will be having a small give away!

For the second one, yes i know I've used this picture of me & ruben before... but just love it so much. We hardly have any pictures together as most of the time one of us is taking the picture and as for the japan trip, there's a lot of pictures of Ruben as I was always the one holding the camera.

Weekends....

Time really flew by this week, it's already friday and so grateful for that. It has been a long long long week for me, not to mention a tiring one tooo. It's one of those times at work where the work load is piled up and people are working at 150% capacity (when we can only do 100%). I'm so happy that I enjoy doing scrapbooking, as this gives me a chance to de-stress a bit and then ... stress out again... (if that makes sense at all).

There's another layouts that I would like to share... done for 52 Sketches 52 Weeks - the current sketch challenge going on right now, don't forget to check out the details there... there's another yummy prize up for grabs

and here's my take; ); another picture from the trip to Borobudur in Indonesia. The monument is breath taking and not a surprise that it's also on the world heritage list...

being together traveling together

i always figured that if you are able to spend one week on a road trip with someone and survive smiling... then there must be something there, right? :)

although we didn't do a road trip in Japan... there were those moments...

are you sure we are not lost?
do you really know where you are going?
where are we?
are we there yet?

what can i say, i get really nervous when i'm in a place that i can't read half of the signs... but all in all we had a great time (as you can tell from all the smiles)! and yes... "when i count my blessing, i count you first"

missing autumn...

Ooooooh i've been back only a few days already and am so missing japan with all the yummy food and the beauty everywhere. also not to mention it's so nice and cool there - it's too too too hot here in singapore.

here's my first layout to share with our pictures from japan - these are taken in nikko, a small city outside of tokyo. This garden was just amazing and stunning, i just couldn't resist taking more and more pictures and standing there starring out at all the warm colors... (you will definitely being see more pictures from this garden).

For this layout i was inspired by an ad that i just received in the mailbox, does that just look yummy. it's funny how sometimes the simplicity of things are more eye catching and not to mention, definitely get the message across and this was perfect for the challenge over at my mind's eye!
