I Made It!!!!! I Made It!!!!!

I couldn't believe it... when I first received the email from Alisha; titled: American Crafts Contributing Design Team Offer. Is this for real??? Speechless!!! Remember reading it about 10 times, just to be sure that I understood the details right... is this possible, did I actually make it!

Honestly, it still feels like a dream... even when the details have been published on AC's Blog. WOW Weeeeeee! If you want to see my submissions --> check it out and also my AC calendar for July!

Sunday News & Giveaway

Wow... half of sunday is already gone and all i have done so far is clean up my apartment... yeap, not really an exciting day so far. However, getting ready to go out - there's suppose to be a Thai gathering today in Singapore, will check it out and hopefully meet some friends...

Before going, here's another layout I managed to scrap yesterday - using the previous sunday news paper and Graphic 45 news print paper from the Fashionista collection and about my travels again. So amazed how each of the cities/countries in europe are so different.

Hi There...

This week has gone by so so so fast... can't believe it's already saturday (and almost over too). Only one more day of work-free stress... uhmm, i really do wish our weekends are longer.

Okay, onto the fun stuff... yeap, been scraping away today as I try to catch up on some assignments for MWL; didn't get much done during the week. Last week we received these gorgeous MME papers from their new collections; a must have & the colors are just so yummy!

BKK for the weekend!!!

oooooh I can't wait to go back home this weekend, well actually will be flying tomorrow already! So excited, it's been almost 2 months since my last trip - i guess this is the fall back of having transferred to the singapore office... oh well, still enjoying it here...

But before disappearing for a few days... here's a layout that I just finished... For this one, in addition to all the challenges, I also wanted to see if I could create a vintage look with the american craft papers... what do you guys think? A little of distressing, a bit of tim holtz distress crackle paint on the edges, lace, stamping.... do you think it's working?

I've been wanting to scrap this picture for awhile now - but couldn't find the perfect papers till now. The picture was taken on my wedding day - the morning wedding ceremony (thai wedding) - at the house. The ceremony had just finished and the photographer brought us outside to the garden... the perfect picture of "the talvanna ladies". Thanks mommy for everything & sis for all your help. I truly couldn't have made it through the day without you...
