Lily Bee Handmade

Sharing a layout I created for Lily Bee blog today, using their latest collection - Handmade. Honestly, the colors in this collection are just amazing - love the mix of colors and especially that shade of pink.

Photobucket

Super sweet colors...

And one of the thing that I love most about this collection (other than the color combination) is the Patchwork pattern paper (that I used as part of my layout background). With this one paper, you have a glimpse of all the other pattern papers in the collection and also saves you tons of time to create that patchwork look. all done, but cut and paste!

Photobucket

Got to love that paper!

Thanks again everyone for stopping by and especially for all the wonderful comments - thanks for making my day!

more projects for scrappin studio

Hi everyone, sharing a few more projects that I created this month as guest designer for Scrappin Studio using the fun (and super yummy) kits from Studio Calico. I got a chance to work with 3 out of the 5 kits this month and honestly love how easily they can be mixed and matched together.  {for full details on the layout, please visit Scrappin Studio HERE}

On this layout, I had a blast putting my Silhouette machine to some good use, using designs from Silhouette Designs and Karla Dudley. And also making the most of all the new Dear Lizzy and Pebbles goodies that were included in the kits.

Photobucket

Some close up details... and also adding a bit of Mr. Huey Lemonade to provide some contrast/depth between the two cardstock pieces...

Photobucket

Loving these fun sequins from Pebbles...

Photobucket

And also these word sayings from authentique...

Photobucket

-------------------------------------

And another layout that was design around the super fun Dear Lizzy pattern paper - don't you just LOVE those polaroid frames!!

Photobucket

The kraft alphabet stickers were also just the right touch for the layout, to contrast against the soft dreamy colors of the Dear Lizzy collection.

Photobucket

and also a play on words... Love You Everyday!

Photobucket

and Always Forever...

Photobucket

-----------------------------------------------------------

And for my last project, I pretty much grab what ever was left and created this free style mini album - hoping  capture some of my "if only" moments...

Photobucket

Photobucket

I also added in some small doilies for more texture and can't get enough of that crepe paper from the Dear Lizzy collection...

Photobucket

And used the studio calico white mist for the finishing touches - a few droplets here and there.

Photobucket

thanks for stopping by everyone and don't you just adore the new collection from Dear Lizzy??   and also will be back soon with more projects to share...

Guesting for Scrappin Studio

Sharing some layouts that I created for Scrappin Studio this month, as their guest designer.  I had the chance to work with the Daydream Believer, Clarksville and Stepping Stone kits and honestly can't get enough of the yummy goodies!  Just love love the bits and pieces of the new Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection, that's included in all the kits.

For this layout, I mainly used the Clarksville kit with bits of goodies from the main Daydream Believer...

Photobucket

Loving the SC background stamp and those cute sequins from pebbles...

Photobucket

And I definitely need more of the crepe paper from the Dear Lizzy collection!!

Fancy Pants Love Story

Sharing some Fancy Pants - Love Story projects today! With valentine day around the corner, I couldn't resist grabbing a few sheets of this super sweet collection for a little of love.

The first one here is a 8.5" x 11" layout using some of the pattern papers and border stickers from the collection; the flowers and cute felt brad is from the its the little things collection (one of my all time favorite collection - I just can't get enough of the text pattern paper...lol).

Photobucket

In making this layout, I also realized that we haven't been taking a lot of pictures together lately on our trips and that we get so caught up on all the amazing surroundings or each other (LOL) that we keep forgetting the together part. Note to self: more together pictures!!!

I also got my silhouette out for some cutting fun and once again used the circle heart file and along with the one for the word you (circle heart, you); just adore everything that Karla Dudley designs.

And also created these simple tags that can be reproduced in no time...  and would be perfect to pass around for valentine's day.

Some Crate Paper & Lily Bee Goodies...

Hi Everyone!!!

I really can't believe how fast time flies by now a days - with things picking up at the office and my tendencies to continuously scrap. LOL  I'm not sure if it's because of all the inspirations from see the new releases everywhere or my desire (and necessity) to clear some scrappy space; but there'll definitely be tons to share in the coming days...

Starting with these two projects today!  First is this valentine project that I created for the Crate Paper blog using the sweet Paper Heart Collection (that's up on their blog today - just so excited as this is my first project for them and don't forget to stop by there as they're also having a giveaway!).

Photobucket

For my project, I opted to create a box of valentine coupons using the Graphic 45 altered box as the starting point; decorating and covering parts of the box (love how the kraft color contrast with the sweet colors from the collection).  Then for the coupons, I could resist getting out my silhouette machine to try out some of the new shapes that I recently purchased (chevron hearts and circle heart).

Photobucket

Photobucket

and can't stop creating these shaker fun!

And also sharing some Lily Bee cards created using the Heads Over Heels collection, which are also up on the Lily Bee Blog today (do stop by for more card inspirations from the other amazing ladies).  The theme for today's post is simple valentine cards that can be easily replicated (and under 30 mins tops).  For the first one here, I used one of those plastic bags for the confetti and included an index card before sewing up it at the top.  Then to cover the stitching, I added a strip of pattern paper and finished the card off with a heart punch out. 15 mins!!

Photobucket

On the second one, I glued down another index card and added bits of pattern paper and more punch out shapes - my all time favorite butterfly and hearts; before using the ABC stickers to complete the card. 15mins!!  **wink**

Photobucket

A big thanks for stopping by everyone and promise to not to disappear for too long...

"a slice of the good life"

This week has passed by in a flash and can't believe that the weekend has already started even thou there's still so many things that I needed to do before then (and obviously haven't done yet).  And to add on to it... I need to go back to BKK this weekend to run some errands... lol (wishing there was 48 hours in a day).

Although it has been a crazy week but I have to admit that it definitely has been an interesting one.  Starting with our chinese new year vacation to Manado, Indonesia; where we spent the long weekend snorkeling in the crystal clear blue sea.  I will definitely say that it was beyond expectations and anything that I ever thought could be.  The corals were amazing and I don't think I have ever seen so many fish - especially that up close!  But unfortunately there is also a down side of it (in which I'm still paying the dear price) - SUNBURNED!!  Yeap, its the first time for me and literally half of my body is killing me...

So before crawling to my gate, thought I would share this recent layout that I created using American Craft Amy Tangerine goodies (I know - I just can't get enough of this collection); of my trip late last year to Belgium (truly enjoying the good life there).

Photobucket

I opted to keep the overall design of the layout really simple and instead focused on the design of the pattern papers and "white space"; but still having some fun in the details... also mixed in some pebbles goodies (kraft butterflies)...

Thanks everyone for stopping by and hope guys are having a great weekend!
