AC Love & WCMD 2011 with Pink Paislee

I'm just having so much fun with the Amy Tangerine collection from American Crafts - everything from the fun colors to the awesome design and mix of images. I can't get enough of it and also the collection is perfect for all my travel memories!

and here's the second installment of my trip to Ghent... just having a fun time walking along the canal and enjoying the sun as I take in all the amazing architecture....

Photobucket

I wonder if one of the reason I love this collection so much is because of all the fun embellishments - aren't these dimensional stickers, die cuts (which are must have) and fabric brads just too too cute!

New Lily Bee Collections

have you guys seen the new lily bee collections in person? all 3 of the new collections are absolutely amazing. I'm just in love with the colors and designs in this release. and here are 2 new layouts that I have created for my lily bee blog post today -

the first here using bits from the Jingle and Memorandum collections.... (and finally using the new buttercream twine - couldn't resist buying the new colors from The Twinery, they are absolutely gorgeous and plus a girl can't have too much twine, right?)

Pink Paislee Vintage Vogue - ME

just wanted to share that I have a layout up on the pink paislee blog today and the assignment this time was to create a project based on a sketch. i had selected one from pagemaps - to kick start my creative process and was surprised to see how different but yet similar the layout ended up being.

Photobucket

and here's the sketch that I had used (from pagemaps Jan 2011 archive)

Photobucket

and here's are some close ups of the layout. I went a bit crazy with all the embellishments - what can I say - I just love the ephemera packs with all the fun die cuts, and those wooden spool buttons (a must right?)...

You'll look back on important numeric events in your life, such as memorable milestones (marriage, graduation, etc.), and significant (and playful) quantities (the number of children you have, the amount of times you indulge in your favorite vice every day, etc.). And you'll have a blast personalizing your album with numbers unique to you-your home address, your lucky number, etc. Plus, as you add up the numbers of your life, you'll learn innovative techniques such as coloring with Twinkling H20s, stitching, and misting all while using Pink Paislee's Daily Junque line. Top it off with clever ideas for using unexpected supplies, such as cupcake liners, washi tape, bakers twine, and more, and you've got one fresh album. Whatever your digit, this album is rated a 10.0 for fun and creativity!

And sharing one of my previous Pink Paislee layout, where the number journaling cards were my source of inspiration...

Pink Paislee Vintage Vogue

Hi everyone,

just wanted to share this layout that I created for the Pink Paislee blog today - using the retro vintage vogue collection. I'll be honest, I wasn't too sure about this collection when I first saw it online - I think it might be the purple color. But once I saw this collection in person - I'll say it again - I LOVE IT!

The colors are just perfect - with that little touch of purple here and there and the embellishments in this collection are fun fun fun.

Photobucket

and here's a close up of the paper rosettes that are today's product pick - did you notice that there are 3 different flower designs (different borders)?

Photobucket

and here's a close up of the smaller rosette and I also used one of the spool buttons for some spinning fun - love these (I'm just crazy about anything wood at the moment)...lol

Photobucket

thanks for stopping by and don't forget to also check out my blog post on the pink paislee blog for a bit more details.

And honestly, I was suprised that once I had everything spread out everywhere... the same colors schemes can be found in all the collections and can be easy mixed with each other and in no time at all...

Photobucket

... mixing in nightfall flower embellishments, using stickers from both the DayDream (hello) and Garden Cafe (flower) collections and isn't that smile tag from the Garden Cafe collection adorable (I really do need another set)...

Photobucket

...and here's more bits from Amy Tangerine fabric button set, flower embellishment from the Nightfall collection, label sticker in the back is from Garden Cafe and the yummy buttons are from the DayDream collection...
