AC love and give-away

sharing some american craft love... and it's heat wave! I remember when I first got this collection, I wasn't sure what pictures I would use and also the colors are so bright and strong. But once I saw these pictures from my trip - perfect - and had so much fun working with this collection. Love Love Love the bright and fun colors - I have already started working on a second layout with these papers!

and isn't that cutest little crab you ever saw?

and yes, more twine. I've gone twine crazy and even with all that I have - I'm still ordering more and speaking of scrapbook goodies... do check back as I will be selling off some goodies at a fraction of the price (spent the last few days - cleaning and clearing my scrapping area). I can't believe how much I have accumulated over the year - new untouched and unopened paper packs, duplicate stamps and it goes on forever....

supplies used include:
cardstock, pattern paper, brads, ribbon, chipboard alphas, felt embellishments, rub-ons, sticker: american crafts; chipboard, mist: maya road
inspired by: sketch from yourscrapbook stash

and THANK YOU everyone for all the warm wishes - can't believe I'm another year old, although if anyone asks - I'm forever 25!!! lol and to celebrate with everyone, I thought I would have a small give-away...

interested in some yummy american crafts goodies (the journal book has one sticker missing, otherwise everything else is new), lily bee - flowers (new), purple onion design - alphabet stamp set (new and un-mounted) and techique tuesday - stamp set (new). if you are, just leave me a comment on this post by Sunday March 28th.

ps. would love for you to become my follower (if you're not already). Txs!

made with love...

had a bit of scrapbook block this morning when I first sat down to work on an assignment for made with love... couldn't get started, although I had already sketch out the layout the night before... but just sat there... starring out the window, day dreaming... (lol that's me)

anyway, finally got around to creating this layout....

awhile back we were given this adorable stamp from Maya Road to work with... the catch is... the stamp is design by none other than KELLY!! Yay! Yay! Yay! and will be available for sell at MWL later this week.

the idea that I had for this layout was to use the various pictures to form a heart shape... and to help emphasize the shape, I added little photo corners...and then a little of stitching too (still haven't remove the sewing machine from the box yet - I really should do that and then also learn how to sew).

and just loving the colors in this collection...

supplies used include:
cardstock: bazzill basic (kraft), american crafts (chestnut); pattern paper: cosmo cricket; stamp: maya road; trinket pin: maya road; kraft envelop: maya road; mist: maya road; chipboard heart: maya road; button: jenni bowlin; alpha sticker: jenni bowlin; punch: EK Success; others: robin nest dew drops

Thanks for stopping by... and can't wait to start scrapping with my australia pictures.

Just dropping a quick note by ... I'm finally back in Singapore after long long long hours on the plane and a shopping and eatting day in Bangkok! Yeap, couldn't resist stopping in BKK - what can I say - missing the fooooooooood! (and of course my mother too).

Here are a few photos from the trip.... (still haven't a had chance to go through all of them yet).

an absolutely stunning view of the blue mountains:

yummy yummy cupcakes... oooh haven't had anything this good for a long long time (wish I knew how to bake):

a little moo moo along the way (I think we spent over 25 hours in the car as we drove from Sydney to Melbourne and then back):

the gorgeous squeaky beach:

dinner along the lake/coast:

and for now off to MWL to prepare the kits for this thursday class... just so so so excited & hope to see some of you there.

hello from down under...

hi everyone,

Just dropping in to say hello... currently i'm somewhere between Sydney and Melbourne... Not sure where I am (left ruben to do all the planning), but looking outside the B&B and I see cows... lots of cows. Well actually I think that's all I've been seeing the entire day today, was hoping to catch a glimpse of some kangaroos, but lucky or unlucky we didn't see any today during the drive (been in the car for over 8 hours).

But honestly, have really been enjoying myself so far on the trip. It's definitely a nice and relaxing one (and long over due) as we drive through the wilderness/blue mountains and then along the coast - the view is just amazing (give and take the rain abit) and will definitely try to share some pics the next time I have a chance to get online.

Also wanted to thank everyone for all the comments and sharing your latest addictions... and definitely have to agree with everyone, those are mine too... from misting, to punches, brads, buttons, flowers... and the list goes on and on... for those, who haven't a had chance to leave a comment for Shimelle's Online Class: Something From Almost Nothing - you still have one more day --> please see my post below. You definitely don't want to miss this class and just in case you are wondering who are some of the other guest artist... well have a look at my blog roll on the right... you might be able to triple your chances of winning (check for the ones with giveaways).

And for singapore scrappers... my class details at Made With Love are out and the samples are also at the store. Please do stop by and have a look and hopefully will get a chance to meet some of you there.
